movement with the goal of exposing the truth about tobacco and the
manipulative marketing practices that the tobacco industry uses
to target teens.
2. Reality Check is designed to reduce the impact of the number
one preventable cause of death and disease in the world-tobacco
use.
3. Reality Check is a teen-led, youth empowerment campaign that
conducts activities and projects designed to help teens make a more
informed decision about tobacco use.
4. Reality Check is a movement made up of teens from every county
in New York State who want to tell the tobacco industry that if
they think they can keep targeting New York teens without any resistance,
they need a reality check.
5. Reality Check empowers youth to tell their peers that the tobacco
industry views them as "replacement smokers."
6. Reality Check is not anti-smoker, it's anti-tobacco and tobacco
industry.
7. If Reality Check can save one youth from falling prey to the
lies about tobacco and manipulations of the tobacco industry, then
